Another Star block
Here I am again with another block for "Entwined Star", just because I could not resist making another. The first was so much fun that this time I wanted to try a more autumn tone block.
Star Quilt - how can I help
I've been eyeing up this pattern for quite some time, not that I'm a patchwork quilter, but still wishing I had some spare time to make up a block or two, just too see how it looked. Today, I finally decided I should just get right to it and as I did, I wrote some notes that might also help you along the way.
Credit card and Debit card Fraud - you can protect yourself
I was horrified when I read the news and watched a demonstration on how easy it was to steal someone's credit and debit card information yesterday.... and what's more, you don't even know it is happening!
Applique Animals
So I was looking at Jennifer's "Zoo Friends" online class and wondering why I haven't made these darling little animals before now. I guess it boils down to me always being too busy designing my own quilts. Well I decided that wasn't quite good enough. Her pattern "Animal Party" has been a huge hit and I know her class is going to be too so I at least need to make some of these little critters.
Amy Jigsaw
Ok, I couldn't help but make this into a jigsaw. She is so berry cute!
Pieced Place Mats
Today, being Sew-in on Connected Threadz, I knew I needed something to sew. I had a few choices, like sewing on binding, but that didn't really appeal. I needed something a little more creative so I started digging around in my fabrics and pulled out a combination of teals which I thought would work well for place mats on my table. Not that I usually use brown that much, but today I had a feeling that I should include a golden brown with the selection.
