Stitch Along March rules part 1
Wow where did the last two months go? Two challenges down and I'm ready to begin a new one. Are you ready to join me? Let's have some stitching fun times. Before we get started, check back to the last two galleries January Gallery and February Gallery to see our results.
Attic Window - exercise one
Here is one of the exercise you will do in Attic Windows - Lesson One. You will determine the best window size for YOUR fabric:
One Great Feature in CorelDraw
Nobody likes a "know it all". I might come across that way occasionally, but believe me, I'm not.
When I was a kid, this little rhyme was making the rounds:
Pineapples Plus - foundation piecing
Log Cabin patterns are among the most popular in the quilting world and deservedly so. They are simple to construct, have strong graphics and lend themselves to many different design arrangements. The Pineapple is merely a Log Cabin gone a bit berserk. This makes up the Pineapples Plus class.
Easter Treats
Easter is coming soon so I decided to get my display ready early. My Easter Treats table runner makes the perfect table setting. All I need is a decorative bowl for those Easter Eggs! A quick and easy Easter idea.
My February Stitch Along week 4
Welcome back to the last week of February Stitch Along, that certainly went quickly and I had a lot of fun with this. Today was no exception as I finished off my coaster set. At first I wasn't sure about cutting up my stitching but once I got underway, I wished I had more to cut up!

There are five basic characteristics that make a quilt a traditional "Hawaiian" quilt. They are:
Mixing Up Media
Opportunities are brief moments in time; timing is everything… I say that a lot. We have many opportunities that come our way; often times we are distracted; or, maybe we aren’t ready. When it is the right time, we are receptive, we are ready, that is when the chances for growth are optimal; which, in turn set up for opportunities.
Bargello Piecing Tip
A lot of thought goes into designing a Bargello quilt. It is not just a matter of drawing a few lines or curves. As you design you will discover how one little change to your design can create a whole new look. One attribute that will make a big difference is whether you use staggered seams or matching seams. Let's take a closer look at these two options.
Stitch along February rules part 4
This is the last week for our February stitch along, if you didn't join in, then you missed out on a lot of stitching fun. Maybe next month?
