I have some very exciting news for all of you who have embroidery machines - soon we will have embroidery designs available for you from "Billy Creek Designs by Marilyn Lee". If you know Marilyn Lee, you will know about the beautiful work she creates, both in embroidery and in quilting (see her online quilting classes at academyofquilting.com for more about quilting). Chopping Up a Quilt

Why would I want to chop up a quilt? Literally, I don't but it is fun to imagine what we can create by chopping one up. This idea came to me while creating my last challenge and not knowing what to do with the final piece. The finished project was not something I particularly wanted to display, so I had the idea of chopping it up for coasters. You can check that blog post out here if you want.
