I thought this quilt pattern - ABC's baby quilt designed by Stephanie Senior would make a great jigsaw. Give it a try.
I always consider piecing a quilt to be a little like a jigsaw puzzle, all the pieces have to fit just right. This jigsaw is especially for my sister and her twins. I made this quilt for the twins and have recently published it as a quilt pattern. Yes I made two, and then another as the sample quilt. It's called "I love Teddy". There are six appliqued teddy bears all wearing different colored vests while the background is made of jewel colored square-in-a-square blocks. I would consider the piecing to be advanced but the applique is easy using my fusible blanket stitch technique (full details included in the pattern). Read more about this pattern here >>
A new jigsaw this week. Instead of a single quilt I decided to make a jigsaw out of this photo of three quilts. It's amazing how that turquoise color looks all the same in each quilt! Try changing the cut - button on the left side. Increase the amount of pieces to make it more challenging - I dare you! Enjoy...
