Machine Quilting Day 33

Posted by Ruth on 14 August 2013 | 0 Comments

While out shopping I saw this really cool packaging design. I thought it would make a very different quilting design so snapped a photo.

I started my quilting by making a frame to contain the design.

Then I added some curved lines going from the bottom left corner and spreading wider toward the top right corner, similar to the packaging.

I added some horizontal design lines. I didn't use text, just some straight lines and squiggles.

I changed thread color and filled in the area between the two curved lines with double circles.

Here is a close up of the double circles I created.

To finish off, I added a touch of red to the horizontal lines.

I think this design expanded would look great on some wearable art. What do you think?
