A Snowy Feeling
Winter Wonderland is a very fun class, where you get to play with all sorts of paints and glitter to create a lovely winter forest scene. You start by painting the background with Setacolor fabric paints:
Then creating trees and snowbanks out of Puff Paint, Perle paint, iridescent glitter, and 3-D paint. And add the Merced River with reflections:
Then you add the finishing touch of a focal point of your choice – wolf, snowman, or whatever you choose.
Then you learn to create a snowy border,
Then quilt and finish it up! There are even two bonus projects – A snowy tree and a snow angel!
My Winter Wonderland Class will be opening soon, and I do hope to see you there! Even if it isn't Winter at your house, come and play with me!
About Winter Wonderland: Learn how to make falling snow and just about anything that is covered with snow, including pine trees, rocks, bare trees, snowmen and snow angels. In the first three lessons, you will create a 17" x 22" scene based on a photo taken at Yosemite, then choose from three small bonus projects in Lesson Four. Linda will walk you through the project step by step, teaching you how to make paint and glitter give the appearance of snow. Read more...
