Down in the Woods
Remember last week I mentioned a new pattern? Well, it is here now! Freshly released and a fun make with modern cutting techniques (or traditional if you prefer). My new quilt is called "Woodland Foxes" and is ideal for baby or toodler as you can make it in any size you require with ease - crib, cot, single or lap quilt.
Check out this cute little fox dashing about the trees!

I have to admit, I had more fun than usual making this quilt because I teamed up with TillyBird, a business that makes mostly crocheted toys.

Here are some close-ups of a few of their crocheted items.

are also sold separately)

And one of my very favorites.... this checky raccoon tie back:
So next time you need something to gift along with your quilt, consider adding one of these delightful toys!

Next week I'm going to demonstrate how to cut strips (as I did for this quilt) the modern free-form way. Be sure to check it out.
