Getting Ready for Easter

Posted by Ruth on 12 February 2013 | 0 Comments

I think as we get older, the days tend to go by faster. I am not sure why this is but I figured that I should at least be a little more prepared so certain dates don't sneak up on me. Reason why I have just made my Easter Sweets table runner available as a download.

Easter Sweets is one of three table runners that I designed in 2002 - talk about time flying. I had to check the date on that, sure enough it was 2002. It was part of a table runner trio called Festive Runners which includes Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter.

The one thing I really like about this design is you can either applique the elements or used colored thread to quilt them instead. I appliqued mine but used a couple of the templates to quilt around as well.

The pieced center block is on-point....

A fun project for sure. I'll be happy to get this out again this Easter to show off to my guests.
