Looking in the Crystal Ball
Over the past two days I have been reflecting back on 2012 - patterns released, new downloads, online quilt classes and the introduction of charm packs. Today I want to look into our Crystal Ball and take a peak at what is instore for 2013, but first of all I would like to say a great big
Happy New Year to you all
may it be full of good health, fun, safe and productive!
Taking a look in our crystal ball I can see we already have a number of online classes in the works. In fact one is already open for registration and will be starting for the very first time this month. It is one of our best selling patterns for 2012. Knot of Squares is the an extended version of Trinity Celtic Knot quilt pattern.
This online version includes various colors, different construction instructions, multiple border options and new quilting ideas. You can find out more about this class here. Read more >>
Also coming up in the way of classes we have a beginner's patchwork class taught by Jennifer Houlden. Do you have a friend, daughter or aunt who wants to learn patchwork? Jennifer is teaching all the basics so this will be a great place to start.
And our popular pattern Entwined Star by Anita Eaten is getting close to completion. You will see this listed for registration soon. Anita takes you through this design step by step and introduces a new border option too. I am really looking forward to taking this one myself.
This month of January we will be introducing several new downloads. Our first is about ready to launch. It is a bed bargello but the pattern also includes instructions for wall hanging size too. See a sneaky preview of the cover below.
There will be at least 3 more downloads coming to our list soon - these will be patchwork designs. At this time they will not be presented as hardcopy but if we have a lot of interest in any of them, then we will also make the hardcopy available.
Talking about hardcopy patterns Deborah Cohen has been working on a new design which will be released within the next few months. You all remember how popular Trinity Celtic Knot is and I think her new design will be a big hit too so watch out for more news on Deborah's pattern.
I also have a Christmas bed quilt that will be available well before Christmas. We will be launching this early to get out into the shops on time.
Along with the above mentioned we have many more online classes, patterns and downloads to offer in 2013. I have several Bargellos in the works for new patterns and online classes. I also hope to put out a book - I've been working on this in my spare time (yes I can hear a giggle or two). But for now, I have a question for you: Is there anything special you would like to see in the way of patterns, downloads or online classes?
I will leave you with those thoughts.
