Patchwork Quilt - stepping stone
Stepping Stones was a quilt I put together as a custom made job for a customer. It didn't have the printed blocks in it as I have in the photo below. It was just made in blue and yellow squares. Very easy to make with large pieces.
I added the printed blocks as added character to the quilt and I wrote it in three sizes so you could use 6", 8" and 10" finished prints.
Today I was looking at it and thought it really isn't that appealing. I'd like to dress it up a notch. I used black as the background with pale green and orange squares to surround the main blocks. The printed blocks looked drab in comparison so I took yesterday's piece block Air Castle and inserted those instead. What a difference that made!
