Circular Bargello Online

This week my circular bargello class is starting at the Academy of Quilting. In fact, class has just begun and students are starting to sign in. Why not join me too?

Circular Bargello

The bargello in this class is quite different because the strips are cut into wedges. You can use two different degree wedge rulers. Here I am cutting a wedge using a 9 degree ruler. You can also use a 10 degree wedge ruler too.

If you cannot decide on your color selection I ask you to send in two or three photos of your choices. Sending several extra fabrics in the group is also a good idea, it makes it easier for me to help you by making suggestions on which fabrics would be best eliminated. I always give reasons why I make those suggestions too so you can learn. Here is an example.

I need help with my selection - I have added some extra fabrics that may be used

I have removed the fabric 3rd from the right, the light purple in the center and fabrics 2nd, 3rd & 4th from the left - then ordered them like this

Notice how I have very dark and very light fabrics with the teal/blues on one end and pinks on the other. There is lots more to learn in this class too. I hope you'll join me and the other students.
