Are you joining me for my July Christmas stitch along fun? I hope so. This challenge will be a fun way to use some of your Christmas fabric, or whatever fabric you have on hand, to created something for Christmas or even a stocking stuffer. If you missed week 1 rules, check them out here: July Week 1 rules.

So this week is pretty easy, it is just a matter of hunting through your stash of fabrics, charms and threads to pull out some Christmas inspired things to work with. This is what I found...

Some fun Christmas prints and red fabrics.

Christmas and red fabrics

For some reason, I could not locate my green fabric - probably in a bin with my last year's Christmas project. I have a habit of doing that! But I think these fabrics could also work.

Christmas in a different kind of color

And of course, fairy frost fabrics work. In the photo these look pretty much the same but they are yellow, gold and lime green.

I could also use some metallic fabrics and cotton lame.

I found these cute little Christmas charms.

And any of these trimmings will work too - again, they seem all red so I'm sure my green things are with the fabrics. I'll locate them this week, if I think I need them. I like red but I'm sure my Mum would love to see some green, being her favorite color :)

Red trimmings

I pulled some metallic threads and some variegated threads too. To finish off my collection, I included a silver pen and a fabric pen. Maybe I can use those somewhere!

How did you get on? I cannot wait to see what you have in your stash.

PS: Kay sent in her challenge pieces for last month so I updated the June Gallery. Be sure to take a look!
