I don't know about you, but I love making things for babies or inspired by babies so this challenge is bound to be fun, although I'm starting off a little tough because I don't have a lot of 'baby' inspired fabric to work with. I hunted in my stash and only came up with about four suitable fabrics.

But I figured anything bright is ideal for babies and so I headed to my pre-cut stash of squares. Lucky for me, I found a whole bunch of 3.5" squares in bright colors. These have to be useful.

So now that I have some fabrics to work with, let's take a look in the thread stash. This might be a good time to use some of those variegated threads. I pulled out a few of those that may be useful.

Of course, I could do a search online for plenty of baby inspired images, but I'm thinking of heading directly toward my own website that has some baby quilts. In particular, I'm thinking about Stephanie's ABC's pattern. There are lots of images to inspired me there and how about all those letters, surely I can figure out how to use those too! Here are two of the blocks I made a few years back...
