needleturn appliqued yachtI don't know about you, but this challenge has me doing some techniques I haven't done in a long time. It is always nice to revisit them. I'm referring to hand applique. I have always enjoyed it, just never had enough time to do a lot of it. I do like how the pieces pop up compares to fusible applique.

Rules for Week 4

In this week, you need to add any words not included in the previous parts. Remember these can also be quilting or embroidery stitching, charms or buttons. They may be included in the binding or even on the back. Anything goes!

It is now time to complete any quilting that still needs to be added.

Check that you have included a word for each letter of "San Francisco", then go ahead and bind your small quilt to finish it off.

If you need help with binding, check the library at the Academy of Quilting: Quilter's library. You'll find a whole glossary of quilter's terms there.

Remember you can add any finishing touches!

And also remember to take a snapshot of your finished project, date it and sign it. You might also like to send a photo to me so I can make up a gallery of Challenge pieces.
