This month our theme is going to be to use scraps - lots of scraps so I hope you have some.... if not, then charm squares will do. Focus on bright colors, but you'll need some softer colors and darker ones as well but the main should be brights. Select reds, oranges, yellows, blues, and purples... throw in a few teal colors as well if you like. Remember just use your scraps!

This first week is pretty simple, collect as many scraps as you can. Using your scraps cut little squares about 1/2" in size. Try to keep them close to all the same size but do not measure and cut accurately - there is no need. As you are cutting them, sort them into groups of colors. This will make it easier for next week. If you have little containers or ziplock bags, use these to keep them organized until you are ready for them.

You'll also need a piece of fusible webbing - about the size of a piece of paper or bigger if you wish, but note, the bigger it gets, the longer this project will take, but probably the prettier too!

You're on your own for this week - I am not going to write a blog post on my progress as there won't be a whole lot to write. At the end of next week, with the new instructions, I'll post a photo of my squares.

Good luck, have fun!
