Amanda Maxwell sent in her challenge piece. Her sewing machine is in for a service this week so will have to complete the background stitching when it comes back. Here's what she says: "Well 1st thing was to google broderie perse! I found lots of interesting info and stumbled across a couple of good blogs too! For the ABCD... fern cutouts for the Broderie perse, the background is Colourful, the contrast square is Dark and eventually it will all be Appliqued on. Looking forward to next week, Amanda"

My week 1

Kay Chavez joined us with her selection of fabrics. "Pinups 'n Pindots" uses metaic red thread, glass beads, silver lock & key findings plus small red ribbon bow."
