September in the southern hemisphere means spring so that's a good reason to use some really bright fabrics - well that's my excuse. You can use whatever you have in your stash, but bright is good :)  If you missed week one rules follow this link: September Week 1 Rules

Jennifer sent along her photo. What wonderful bright colors. Read about her selection on her blog and help her make a discision on which brights to use.

I used bright fabrics too and they stand out well with the pale lemon background I chose. You can read about my selection in today's blog post.

Barbara Frohne sent along a photo. I love that focus fabric and have a piece of that fabric myself! Barbara chose a soft grey shade for the background (at top of photo).

Week 2

Last week Jennifer Houlden ran a little competition on her blog to help her decide which set of fabrics she should use. Here is the winner:

Barbara also sent in her week two piece, she says "This does look like spring. It is early fall here and I'm dealing with wet and cold".

Barbara's piece reminds her of spring!

I created my piece as I explained the rules so you can check back to that blog post to see how it was made. I had a lot of different ideas when making this. Designs are endless.
