November Stitch Along Gallery
I love getting started with a new gallery each month. It is fun watching it grow each week.
November Week One
Here is Jennifer Houlden's fabric choice. Check out her blog to read her thoughts.
And here are my fabrics. You can read my Sunday post here
Amanda put together some fabrics for this challenge too. She says "I am finding these challenges really make me look through my stash, I find fabrics I didn't even know I had!"
Elvira Richardson also sent me her entry to post. She included border, background and three other fabrics which included green with round designs and a Halloween fabric.
Here they are cut ready for week two...
Jennifer Houlden decided she might make a second challenge and sent in some more fabrics, changing Halloween to Christmas.
November Week Two
My week two challenge blocks look like this. Read how I made the borders here on my latest blog post.
Here is Jennifer's entries. Remember she is doing one for Christmas and one for Halloween. You can read all about it here: Jennifer's blog
and Jennifer's Halloween units.
Elvira also sent in her blocks. Love these colors!
November Week Three
How did you get on with week three?
Jennifer Houlden couldn't decide which orientation to finish with. You can read her blog here to find out more.
I added a border to mine. If you want to find out how I knew what to cut to piece this, check out my Sunday post.
November Week Four
Jennifer added her quarter square triangle units along the bottom of her quilt. I see she decided on the landscape setting. Read her blog to find out about her quilting and how she attached the QST units.
Love the buttons Jennifer! Here's a closer look.
I attached my quarter square triangle units with beads. You can read more about my challenge piece here.
Be sure to send in your challenge pieces, we'd love to see them!
