Tuesday Tutor is the beginning of a series of blogs posted every Tuesday. We hope you'll join us for the next 8 weeks as we give you instructions on how to make this unique quilt sampler. This is great if you have never done quilting before or if you're a beginner, or just want to make the quilt for fun. Join us as we work along.

To start, here is a photo of the sampler quilt you will be making. We have options along the way where you can make this sampler into a scrappy quilt if you want to use up some scraps of fabric. This quilt is 34" x 46".

Sampler Quilt (34" x 46")

There are SEVEN blocks in this quilt. These are:

  1. Rail Fence
  2. 9-Patch
  3. Corner Flip
  4. Friendship Star
  5. Log Cabin
  6. Flying Geese
  7. Double Monkey Wrench

Here are a list of fabrics you'll need. You don't have to use the same colors as I have, but try to keep to dark fabrics where I use dark, and light where I use light so you get a good balance in the quilt and see the design.
