April is World Autism Awareness Month. In New Zealand, autism affects one person in every 100. That's around 40,000 of us! And every year during April, I put out a new animal block to add to the collection of animals drawn by my son who is autistic.
This is the first post in my new blog series called "What's Under the Needle". Basically, I am going to share with you what I have been working on during the week since my previous post. At times I will be giving away free patterns or tutorials, presenting new projects and offering challenges among other things. I hope it will be as much fun for you as it will be for me, with some learning experiences along the way! So let's get started with this week....
